We received this bed very quickly and it was in perfect condition. The instructions were very straight forward and easy to follow. When all was said and done we ended up with a fantastic product that we would definitely recommend to anyone interested in a platform bed with drawers. The price was just right as well. When pricing beds in furniture stores, we found similar beds to be priced double or triple what we paid for this one, including shipping. You will definitely want to get the headboard as well as the drawer prevent having a nightstand too close by.

VERY HAPPY with this bed!

The product had multiple scratches, scrapes and huge gashes when it was delivered. It was fairly simple to put together after the instructions were e-mailed to me. (They forgot to send them but are very quick to get them to you if you call the number on the website) Aside, from all of the gashes(We have them hidden by pillows, blankets, etc) in the furniture, it's nice.

We recently bought this bed as a Christmas present to ourselves to try and get some organization into our bedroom. We have a very small house, with two adorable but messy kids, so any way to store, organize or hide things is great! My husband put it together, and the headboard that is suggested to go with it, in a little over 3 1/2 hours with a few little breaks and 1 smahed thumb.

I was actually suprised when we got it and it had 3 drawers- in the tiny picture it looks like only 2.They are sturdy enough for clothes and some heavier stuff and they open and close with ease.

The only thing that I can think of on the negative side is the length of time that was estimated to deliver it.Apparently it came from Canada, so it had to go throught their customs- which takes an extra 5 days.It did arrive with no damage, and it is heavy and sturdy enough that we are pleased that we won't need to buy another bed any time soon.Maybe a new matress one day, but that actually got a lot firmer when we lost the box springs, so maybe not for a long time.

The bed and head boad I bought together don't fit together, they also have a small flaw in the holes in the middle being too close to the top, and broke away, and one of the draws bottums wasn't put together right. It has a hole in it where it looks like they didn't put enough wood when they made the pressed wood....lol Other than thatthe bed is great, it looks beautiful. And some wood glue and hard work, makes the bed look great...lol

After a year of owning this bed I cannot begin to describe how much I hate it. This bed has problems that until I owned this thing I had no idea even existed in the realm of beds.

-The slats that support the mattress came in an array of different sizes, some of them not even long enough to fit securely into the slat holders. This causes the mattress to dip down and make a ton of noise as the loose slats click and clack as they are pushed around.

-The wood is made of cheap particle board that is easily broken. This combined with some of the worst quality metal hardware I've seen (the stuff you get at Ikea is about 10 times greater than what is packaged with the bed) has caused numerous areas where the bed isn't even fully attached as the nut has turned inside the wood and destroyed the wooden opening where the nut is supposed to securely fit.

-If you buy the headboard which is made for the bed, it doesn't properly even line up with the bed. There is this abyss between the bed and the headboard where if anything falls through you will have to move the entire bed to retrieve it. This is especially great when you happen to drop your cell phone down there right before you leave for work.

-Finally, if you are a victim of the headboard/bed abyss and have to move the bed to get your lost item, the entire drawer system will break down and all the drawers will stop working until you properly realign all of the tracks.

We've had this thing for a little over a year and had to move it one time, and we are planning on throwing it away and buying a bed from Ikea for half as much the next time we move. The bed is so crappy it will literally not survive another move if all the problems we had moving it the first time are any indication.

I can't believe we paid almost 500 dollars for this thing.

DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. BED.

I am used to purchasing Sauder-like products only to have them fall apart within a matter of days, and this one is a step above. The bed and headboard are higher quality products and were very easy to assemble. You can tell the boards are press-wood, but it extremely dense and doesn't give or crack easily like I've seen happen with lower quality items. One complaint is that, to save on space, I tried to open things one box at a time and build the main bed prior to digging out the drawers. Packaging would not allow it, as I discovered the screws and such were divided between two containers, but not divided so they matched the containers.

For those adventurous enough to try and assemble this, unless you have a large amount of prior experience assembling non-Ikea level furniture, I would recommend a MINIMUM of two people.

Parts were for the most part complete in count, although a few cams short, requiring me to MacGyver a replacement. Poor manufacturing. Cheap zinc screws that wore out with my power drill, requiring me to wipe flints of zinc metal onto my shirt and pants as I assembled. One got lodged in my finger -- be careful, metal flints can be very painful Zinc cams were too small for associated bed supporters. The assembly was complicated.

Taken together, took two full days to construct, with the assistance of an additional person. For an understanding of my level of experience, I assembled the coffee and end tables as well as desk for my apartment, and used a 12V power drill with associated Philips and hexagonal screw heads.

The final product was okay, but not worth the effort. Please beware -- this bed is not a trivial undertaking.

great bed for the money- no doubtabout that.It does have sharp edges so watch out when you first set it up until you get used to it. My only complaint about the seller is the time it takes to ship the item. It was a couple of weeks and I don't really see any need for it to take that long and there was no communication or delivery information given other than an expected delivery time from with multiple dates listed. But the price can't be beat on the web anywhere- trust me, I looked!
