the only complaints i have it the packing could be better and come with hooks to hang it. i got creative and use black screws with black twist ties it came with. hold up the art and mark where there is a crossing in 3 spots. put the nails in then hang the art securing it with the twist ties. if you do it right you will not notice the ties.
Posted on January 4, 2012 Hai Gilbride says... I bought one of these last month. Shipping was a bit slow and when it arrived it was very poorly packed. Two of the leaves had cracked, leaving tiny fragments in the box. I mounted it in a bathroom and found it was overall a pleasing effect, especially the capiz shell's ability to refract light into so many colors.
I then emailed the company asking for 2 leaves to replace the cracked ones. I got no response so I wrote to Amazon & then I heard from the seller in short order.
They requested/demanded pictures of the 2 damaged leaves before processing any "claim". So, I took 2 pics & emailed them to the company. Great, they were going to ship me an entire replacement order..... but first they needed me to repack the original (in the original packing!) and place it on my front porch so they could have it picked up the next day (or so they said). Only then would they ship a replacement. I figured I had done all the work I was going to do for this thing and told them "thanks but no thanks".
